Dan didn't set out to build software. He set out to build houses.
For over a decade, he’s ran a residential building company across South Australia. Custom homes and residential builds. The work he loved. The business behind the work? That nearly broke him.
Quotes in one system. Invoices in another. Schedules on a whiteboard. Sub payments in a spreadsheet his bookkeeper couldn't read. Cashflow guesses. Weekend admin. Six different apps that didn't talk to each other.
Every builder Dan knew had the same problem. Nobody had a real answer for it.
So Dan built one.
JACK App started as a tool for Dan's own building company. One place for the estimating, the scheduling, the subs, the invoicing, and the money side of the business. Built the way a builder actually thinks about a job, not the way an accountant thinks about a spreadsheet.
Word got out. Other builders wanted access. Then more of them. Then Dan had a second business on his hands.
Today JACK App is used by builders across Australia and North America. But the DNA hasn't changed.
Every feature gets built the same way it started: would this make a builder's day easier? If yes, it ships. If not, it doesn't.
